Pre-Treatment
- We suggest stopping any active skincare products that contain retinol, tretinoin, AHA’s, and BHA’s at least 5 days before your appointment.
- Don’t wax or shave up to 24 hours before a facial.
- Avoid sunbathing and tanning beds at least one week before your treatment.
Post-Treatment
- Do not apply any makeup for at least 24 hours after your treatment.
- Avoid vigorous workouts, saunas, and applying heat or hot water to the skin.
- Avoid your active products for at least up to 48 hours.
- Try not to touch your skin with your hands, and wash or change your pillowcase.
- Avoid tanning and extreme sun exposure; you may apply mineral-based SPF.
- Do not wax or shave for at least 3–5 days.
- Post-treatment sensitivity may occur due to some of the modalities, this is normal!
